Topic:

Third party risk is a topic of growing concern for many organizations. Boards and senior executives need clear and concise information for understanding the risks introduced by a variety of third parties, including suppliers, contractors, partners, direct and indirect service providers, and even customers. Many organizations blindly accept risks inherited from third parties because they lack sufficient maturity for identifying, triaging, measuring, and adjudicating those risks.

In this interactive session, we will share anecdotes and good practices drawn from several recent engagements across a range of industries. The facilitators will share lessons learned for categorizing and triaging the sources of third party risk, including financial, contractual, legal, operational, and security. The session will provide ample opportunity for attendees to share their own experiences and challenges, and will focus on how to apply FAIR concepts for measuring loss event frequency and loss event magnitude to third party risk issues.
