If you're looking to build or refresh your understanding of FAIR (Factor Analysis of Information Risk), there's never been a better time—or place.

We are thrilled to announce the debut of **two new FAIR training experiences** in London this June, delivered to attendees at the [**2025 FAIR Institute Europe Summit on June 5**](https://www.eventleaf.com/e/2025-fair-institute-europe-summit), just before the conference.

Join us for training on **June 3–4**, and then stay for the Summit on **June 5**—a powerful one-two combination of hands-on learning and thought leadership.

Bernadette Dunn is Head of Education for the FAIR Institute and will be the instructor for the trainings.

 

 

### **Course 1: FAIR Foundations *****(June 3, 2025)***

This **one-day theoretical course** is designed for cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and audit professionals who want a solid understanding of FAIR’s principles and terminology.

We’ll cover:

- What FAIR is and why it matters
- How to clearly define a risk scenario
- The concepts of **loss event frequency** and **loss magnitude****

- How FAIR helps align cyber risk with business impact

Whether you're new to FAIR or aligning your team around a common language of risk, this course lays the essential groundwork.

### **Course 2: FAIR Cyber Risk Analysis Training *****(June 4, 2025)***

Ready to apply your FAIR knowledge? This **practical, hands-on course** teaches how to run a full FAIR-based cyber risk analysis, from start to finish.

You’ll learn:

- How to scope and structure a cyber risk scenario
- How to use estimation techniques for frequency and magnitude
- The basics of performing a simple quantitative analysis
- How to communicate results in financial terms, leaders understand

If you’re responsible for supporting security decisions or prioritizing risks, this course is for you.
