Safe Security is committed to the development and adoption of FAIR™, as the leading quantitative risk analysis and standard Value-at-Risk model for cybersecurity and operational risk.

In return for the significant contribution of funds, time, expertise, and intellectual property to the FAIR Institute, Safe Security retains the prerogative to serve as the FAIR Institute exclusive technology advisor.

Sharing expertise on FAIR™ topics based on applied research and development combined with the experience of hundreds of FAIR software implementations.
Underwriting a large portion of the FAIR Institute expenses for workgroups and events.
Promoting FAIR Institute events to customers, partners and others.
Assisting with research that further develops the FAIR standards and body of knowledge.
Introducing consultancies, technology vendors, potential partners and training institutions to the FAIR™ community.
Creating the FAIR Institute website, community site and other online assets.
Hosting FAIR Institute in-person and virtual meetings.
Developing, analyzing and sharing benchmarking data.

The FAIR Institute was born as a response to the need expressed by cybersecurity and operational risk leaders to research, advance and share best cybersecuriity and operational risk management practices. Founded in 2016 as a not-for-profit organization led by industry leaders, the FAIR Institute is focused on improving business outcomes by giving technology, finance, business leaders and board of directors a consistent way to translate risk analysis findings to business value through Standards, Education and Collaboration.
