As the global community of quantitative risk management professionals continues to grow, we at the FAIR Institute are eager to grow with it.
For the past five years, our community, led by security and risk leaders around the world, has held hundreds of chapter meetings, hosted numerous thought leadership webinars, and met thousands of people who are interested in learning more about FAIR and risk quantification.
We recognize that as a growing membership has needs, so does the Institute itself. By restructuring our membership tiers, we will be able to create new value for a more engaged level membership. While still keeping a free “General Membership” that is made available through the partnership of our technical advisor and sponsors, we are now launching a new membership tier, a Contributing Member.
Contributing Members are individuals who seek to advance their FAIR expertise and who are united by a common goal to continuously learn, collaborate and innovate. This exclusive membership will provide the highest level of benefits, discounts and career-improving opportunities.
Contributing Members will have access to premium resources and events, receive discounts for training courses and events, get involved in the development of standard best practices and enjoy opportunities to network with industry leaders. Contributing Members will solidify themselves as leaders in FAIR Institute and the risk management industry.

Annual membership fees for Contributing Members are $150. The proceeds will enable the Institute to finance the development of the exclusive membership benefits and sustain its industry-leading mission.

Individual Membership:
General Member: Open to any business, risk or technology practitioner aiming to improve their knowledge of FAIR. General Membership is open to people from all industries and from organizations of all sizes.
Contributing Member: Contributing Members are seeking to advance their FAIR knowledge to an expert level, progressively incorporate it into their organization’s business practices, and more actively participate in the Institute community. Available to all information security and risk professionals, this exclusive membership provides the highest level of benefits, discounts, events, and thought leadership materials. Contributing Membership includes perks like invitation to exclusive events and webinars, discounts to FAIRCON and on FAIR Training courses, early access to new Institute content materials, and a copy of the FAIR book “Measuring and Managing Information Risk: A FAIR Approach.” New members or general members seeking to upgrade to Contributing level membership can do so by paying the annual $150 Contributing membership fee.
