The webinar was held for interested professors and deans from academic institutions that are building information risk management courses, based on FAIR.

Institute member professors Mike Jerbic and Wade Baker, sat on the expert panel and spoke about teaching FAIR, cybersecurity, and risk management to university students. The webinar provides listeners first-hand experience on how to use the FAIR University Curriculum at your university and will offers tips and best practices to building a successful Information Risk Management course.

Here are some highlights from the webinar:

“Technical students that have moved into management roles need to learn how to speak to language of business and that is how FAIR helps when creating a comprehensive course.” -Wade Baker, Professor, Virginia Tech

“I teach risk as a general economics concept and with the goal of having students write accurately and precisely about risk and using the FAIR taxonomy and using a quantitative method.” -Mike Jerbic, Professor, San Jose State University
