The creator of FAIR, Jack Jones, is a pioneer in the field of quantitative information risk management. Jack is Chairman of the FAIR Institute, Chief Risk Scientist at RiskLens, and a three-time CISO. His book, Measuring and Managing Information Risk: A FAIR Approach, was inducted in the Cybersecurity Canon. Jack is a regular speaker at the RSA Conference and many other industry events.

Emery Csulak has had a distinguished career in federal cybersecurity: Before coming to DOE, where he leads cybersecurity for a $1.5B annual IT investment, he was CISO at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and Deputy CISO at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). DOE recently announced that it is running FAIR analysis in support of its cloud migration strategy, putting the department at the forefront of the move to risk-based cybersecurity management in the federal government.
