The FAIR Institute has seen fantastic growth in 2017 and we would like to thank all of our members and partners for helping to spread the message of FAIR.
The Institute currently has over 2,100 members, coming from top Fortune 500 organizations. We have established 4 new Local Chapters in the United States and abroad, and combined with 5 active Workgroups, allows for high levels of member communication and engagement.
The 2017 FAIR Conference (AKA FAIRCON17) in Dallas, Texas, was a huge success with over 200 risk experts coming together to share best practices and ways to move the industry forward.. One attendee said, "It was FAIR-centered, that provides a great common thread for all presentations and conversations."
The FAIR Institute Blog has established itself as a consistent source of knowledge, with over 130 blog posts published in 2017 and over 48,000 page views, up 180% from 2016.
Furthermore, we have launched a new Online FAIR Training Course and the practice tool, FAIR-U to promote the education and learning of FAIR risk analysis and risk economics. Combined with the FAIR University Curriculum, we are working to help create the next generation of risk management experts.
Looking ahead to 2018, the FAIR Institute is excited to accept new members and partner with other forward-thinking risk organizations. We have exciting new member initiatives and events coming, so stay in touch.
